It has a truss rod and I have a good tech to set it up. One review I read implied that it was as step up from the KM-150. The model is discontinued, I can't seem to find the original sale price, and most of the reviews say that it is a good beginner mandolin "for the price" I hope you can see the dilemma. I found a used Kentucky KM-160 with a case for for $150. I'm pretty sure that I eventually want an 0-hole Eastman but will have to wait awhile before I can afford it. I've been lurking on this subreddit for a few weeks as I've been thinking of getting back into mandolin.
