Like I said, it is a part of the geometry file that I can not remove. compared to the rest of the lettering I've talked to Smokebox about the issues a while ago.

yet else I might have had a crack at it to see if I can spot the issue that causes it howeer since you say the problem is when the lights are on you could take a look if there are some glow or light textures that cause this or iif there is a front plate texture of some sort that you might have missed (I had a similar issue with a side panel on the GTEL) This is the Burlington I assume? (base model I mean). That said, I fully understand why you do not want to release that nose, I wouldn't either and if you seen my reskin you know realism is not in my vocabulary. Originally posted by Mavadelo:I agree with dcshoe, there will always be people complaining especially realism "jumkies" What do you think? Anything else I can touch up on? But, I don't want to have people downloading these without the knowledge that they are bugged (visually). If you guys really want them, I will upload them. I suppose that they can be used trailing behind some F7's for the El Capitan (I made a video for that, but I used F40PH's at the time). My dilemma here is that I don't want to release these repaints with bugs that make such a noticeable difference. Here's an overall view of the Amtrak repaint: But when I turned the lights on, there was a part of the geometry file covering up the number texture. When the headlights were off, the numbers were visible. Everything was fine, but there was still a problem-a problem that's present in both of the repaints: an overlapping texture covering up the numberboard. It's been dead for almost (or maybe even) a month now, but I thought I'd just hand over what I have.ĪmtrakAfter giving up on the Santa Fe, I decided to have a crack at an Amtrak repaint, because its nose would be a solid colour.

Now, I've worked on some reskins for the F45 for a while, though dropped the project after a few bugs couldn't be solved. Unfortunately, Train Simulator does not yet have an SDP45F locomotive, let alone an FP45. But once Amtrak came into play, they replaced the FP45's with the SDP45F. Santa Fe hauled these on a lot of their passenger services. What I mean by that is when, on the El Capitan and similar trains Amtrak had just taken over, there were a few FP45's. Well, even though Amtrak used SDP45F's (wow, that's confusing), that was considered the FP45 "alternative" locomotive. So, you're probably wondering where I'm going with this. Its passenger model brother was the FP45. The F45 locomotive was used exclusively for freight. The work on the P&W has been almost finished and I am going to show you some screenshots later today, or tomorrow.Okay, I know what you're thinking.

While there are going to be some discrepancies between the appearance of the real models and their digital counterparts, I believe the overall result will be more than satisfying (just like with my AC44C6M repaints). I am, however, planning to buy their NS Heritage set, as these locomotives have headlights above the windshield, so I will then determine the most appropriate model for each of the locomotives. The base model I am currently using is the SD70ACe from the Mullan Pass route. Union Pacific SD70ACe "Powered by our People" unit Providence & Worcester SD70M-2 in the newer, Genesee and Wyoming paint scheme Providence & Worcester SD70M-2 in the original brown and red paint scheme I currently have four different versions that I am planning to release, with the work on the first one on the list almost finished: I have recently started a new repaint project, with the aim of creating several SD70ACe and SD70M-2 locomotives for the ORTS.
